As a founding Principal of superk¸l, Andre has completed projects in a wide range of sectors: academic, retail, office, and both single-family and multi-unit residential. His aptitude for design and construction is further bolstered by his expertise in sustainability, construction detailing and the redevelopment of heritage buildings. Under Andre’s leadership, superk¸l designed Canada’s first Active House Thorold in 2013 and the first certified Active House in the World – Active House Centennial Park in 2015. The two projects exemplify the firm’s interest in sustainability, ecologically minded building systems and a particular attention to detail and material resolution.
